English for Child Development (noncredit) - Certificate
The program in English for Child Development equips students with essential English language skills to communicate at the high-intermediate level with and about children. Students develop listening, speaking, reading, and writing skills as well as competencies in the areas of parenting and child development.

Program Learning Outcomes
- Students will respond adequately to spoken language appropriate for intermediate level to high intermediate learners and use common and academic vocabulary and structures to listen and speak with and about young children, focusing on their needs and development.
- Students will read and write in English at an intermediate to high-intermediate level to communicate effectively about children’s needs and development.
