English for Careers in Food Service (noncredit)
The Certificate of Competency in English for Careers in Food Service Program equips students with a foundation in the English language skills necessary for communication in the food service or culinary industry.

Program Learning Outcomes:
- Students will respond adequately to spoken language appropriate for intermediate level learners and use common vocabulary to communicate about topics related to food preparation, workplace safety, and food service.
- Students will read dialogs and short texts suitable for the level and will write simple sentences and paragraphs using language structures common in the food-related context.
To earn this certificate, students must complete the minimum required courses with a grade of C (or P) or better.

Career/Transfer Opportunities:
